Generación X (Puebla)

Generación X’s Puebla location is located near to the rich seam of geekery by Callao and Santo Domingo Metro stations.
Heading to the right-hand side of the store brings you to the comics section, with a decent range of Spanish and European titles, as well as the leading US publishers.
Meanwhile over in the front-left corner of the store, there’s a kiddies’ corner, with a selection of children’s books.
Down the few steps towards the back, you have a good range of manga, a good board game section, and a room with one of the better RPG selections I’ve seen in Madrid, and a pretty good fantasy/sci-fi book section with Spanish language novels including translations of Discworld and Neil Gaiman’s works.
There is also a flight of stairs heading down into the basement. These were behind a gate when we visited, but presumably, this is where the store holds it’s regular Friday roleplaying sessions and other events.
Overall, I’m in two minds about the store. On the one hand, it’s a good store that covers pretty much all the bases other than miniatures. On the other, this means it’s something of a ‘jack-of-all-trades’, which when you’re just a couple of minutes walk from stores that specialise more in one of merch/comics/games isn’t ideal.
However, if you want a ‘bit of everything’ store, I’d still recommend it, and if you’re into RPGs, it’s one of the best options. Just for anything else, there are places nearby that probably fit your needs better.
