Metropolis Center Estrella

Metropolis Center Estrella

Located on Calle Estrella next to the comic books of Omega Center, Metropolis Center is a games store. I make that clear to avoid any confusion with the comic book store Metrópolis, which is just a street away on Calle de la Luna.

While the name might lead to confusion, once you’re inside, it’s all pretty clear. This is a nice, open games shop with a variety of different games.

There’s a pretty decent RPG selection, along with a decent selection of trading card games, including Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Dragon Ball Super. I was quite impressed with the variety of different ‘Deck Builders Toolkits’ for Magic; there must have been about a dozen different ones, which you rarely see even in more card-orientated stores. The emphasis seems on sealed products more than singles though, but some singles were in evidence.

Board games and (non-trading) card games are the main focus for the store though, with a great selection on offer.

If you want to come here and play, there’s a good-sized, clean and bright play area towards the back of the store.

All-in-all this is a decent looking games store.
