Comic Hunter

Comic Hunter

Comic Hunter is an old-school comic book shop packed to the gills (do comic book shops have gills?) with stock.

Aside from the sheer quantity of books crammed into it, the other main thing that struck me was how many complete collections, particularly of older titles, they had available.

A mix of Spanish titles and mainstream American, plus a smattering of manga are on offer, with a lot of quite old books on offer, including a series of abridged classics (an abridged translation of *Little Women* in comic form, anyone?)

As is to be expected, everything is in Spanish, so if you only read English, this probably isn’t the best place to start (unless you want some Spanish texts to translate for practice).

However, if you are good at reading Spanish, then you should find something interesting, particularly if you like mid-century comics.

Nearest Metro: Puerta de Toledo (line 5).
