Mono-Araña is another good ‘general geekery’ store.
There’s a reasonable selection of comics, both issues and trades, but not as much as most comic shops. There are three bookcases worth of manga, and a couple of other cases of books. There’s a reasonable selection of merchandise and a fairly decent selection of tabletop games split between the two floors. Also a narrow bookcase full of RPGs.
The one thing that does set this shop apart from the others that I’ve been to is that there’s a small LARP (live-action role play) section. It’s is pretty tiny, and a typical stall at a convention would likely have more, but still, it’s unusual.
In the upstairs are several tables, giving a decent amount of space for playing. Having been there during a Magic event, it looked like the players had enough room, but it was a job getting past players to look at the board games on the shelves though.
