OhMyGame

OhMyGame is a chain of esports bars, with one location in Madrid, found in the Trafalgar area of Chamberi.
The ground floor is a nice, bright place, with a bar, multiple screens of streaming games, and electric sockets for you to charge your devices in all the seating booths.
The bar offers both food and drink. The drinks selection isn’t bad, with a few different beers, several soft drinks, smoothies and milkshakes. Food-wise, you’re looking at nachos, fries, burgers, hot dogs, and the like. Typically, the items have video-game related names, and the burgers we ordered were very good. I’m not convinced I’d come here just for the food (there’s a bunch of good burger joints), but if I were coming here, I’d definitely eat here rather than getting food somewhere else.
As well as the bar and the streaming entertainment, there are also three machines (I think two Switches and a PC with Xbox controls) that are available for use at 2€ per hour for two controllers.
Heading downstairs there’s more seating, again with power points, more screens, two upright sets of controls for retro games, with the graphics projected onto the wall, and a separate room with gaming PCs.
The gaming PCs are available for 1.50€ per hour and come with many popular games installed. You’ll need to use an account of your own for any of the online games though, and you also need to ask permission to install any game not already on there (though generally, that shouldn’t be a problem).
There are also regular events and tournaments, with some pretty good prizes on offer. There’s also a membership scheme, with which you can earn points by spending money and taking part in events, and then turn the points into discounts or prizes.
Overall, I liked OhMyGame. There’s good food, it’s a nice place, and you can play video games.
