Omega Center

Omega Center

The first thing I noticed on walking in was the large display of work-in-progress comic art (from a comic set in WW2), which pretty much set the tone for the shop.

Located next to Metropolis Center, Omega Center is a comic book store that likes its art.

As well as the selection of comic books, and individual issues of Marvel and DC, they also have an array of art prints and an excellent range of oversized ‘artists edition’ books.

It looks like they regularly have events that feature artists as well.

There’s also a slightly better selection of statues than a lot of comic stores have, and a kid’s corner featuring works suitable for children.

If you’re specifically into the art of comic books, then the store is well worth a visit, and if you’ve got space maybe picking up one of the artist’s editions.
